Miami Surfing Lessons

Hello, I am "Nando"; surfing coach and founder of SURF Miami Beach. I am a North Beach local and soul surfer and proud father of 3 daughters!

My goal as a surf instructor in Miami Beach is to provide a positive, fun and memorable experience when teaching the art of surfing. My focus on providing personalized surfing lessons in Miami Beach with attention to a superior level of service, is key to accomplishing your surfing goals and peace of mind when choosing a surf instructor in Miami.

Surfing is a passion of mine and a true gift of the ocean that I am passing on to my children and to as many of my brothers and sisters out there who wish to learn. In all honesty; it was thru teaching my daughters and the many request I got from other parents to teach their own kids, followed by the parents taking surfing lessons themselves; that inspired me to open SURF Miami Beach and provide surfing lessons on a regular basis. It is a great joy and feeling to watch someone getting up, surf for the first time, experience the natural adrenaline rush of riding a wave and being one with the ocean.

One on one personal surfing instructions to individuals and private surfing lessons for families can produce far better and quicker results than corporate surf camps or corporate surf schools that are simply too large for individual attention. Since everyone's surfing skill and swimming abilities are different, it is very important that surfing instructions in Miami Beach be tailored to the individuals current swimming ability and current surfing level with a focus on water safety and respect for the Ocean. We feel this translates to the overall point; and that is to learn how to surf in Miami Beach and most importantly, "TO HAVE FUN"!

All my Miami Beach surfing lessons include 100% devoted attention and surfboard!

Surfing lessons are held in either South Beach, North Beach, Surfside, Bal Habour or Haulover Beach; location is chosen based on surf conditions.
